In 1877, he left Greece for Corfu, carried on to Naples and then finally settled in Rome, where he inaugurated his first shop in via Sistina. In 1905, he along with his two sons opened the jewellery store in via dei Condotti, which is now the main store of Bvlgari. The store became a favourite of the rich and the famous because of their excellent quality of Greek and Roman fusion designs. Today, Bvlgari has more than 230 retail outlets all over the world.
