Cartier Roadster
The Cartier Roadster is yet another set of posh watches, in solid 18k yellow and white gold, a two tone bracelet in stainless steel and 18k gold and also in a black crocodile leather strap. All the Cartier Roadster watches in metal have a three link chain bracelet. The Cartier Roadster #62017V3 for women has a pink dial. Then there is the Cartier Roadster #162048V3 which has a royal blue dial and there are some others with a light blue, peach and a champagne coloured dial. This mixture of analogs and chronometers has mainly white and black dials. The barrel shaped dials of the Cartier Roadster have the hours marked in Roman numbers except for styles #62004V3 and #W62003V2 which have Arabic numerals to mark the hours. The two tone watches have an 18k yellow gold bezel and a gold central link on the stainless steel bracelet. The Cartier Roadster #WE500260 and #WE5002X2 in white gold and #WE5001X1 in yellow gold are diamond watches. Diamonds outline the rims of the barrel shaped dial in a single row on the east and west sides and in two rows on the north and south sides of the dial. All the Cartier Roadster watches have a dial window at the three o’clock position, a water resistance of a hundred meters, and luminous white hands with the exception of the diamond watches which have blue hands. The crowns in the analog watches are studded, while only the central crown among the three crowns on the chronometers has a precious stone. The Cartier Roadster watches are simple but they maintain the elegance and class that Cartier stands for.
