Movado Watch Company

Movado watches, originated from a small workshop in 1881, started by a young watchmaker named Achille Ditesheim along with six assistants, in the tiny village of La Chaux-de-faunds in Switzerland. Movado, aptly named, meaning ‘always in motion’ is a unique brand of specially designed Swiss technology watches, catering to both men as well as women. Having come a long way, from making pocket watches, to the now fashionable wrist watches, Movado has created a fine niche for itself in the wide ever growing watch industry. The watches meet the best standards of quality and their precision of time is to the exact second. Each Movado is specifically tested to deliver the most superior quality of watches.  Movado’s perfect designs and their skilled craftsmanship have won them 200 international awards and a place to showcase their watches in 20 museums of the world. Movado brings forth a wide range of designs, set in stainless steel, to suit the fancy of its customer. The watches are water, moisture and dust resistant with an added feature of a scratch-proof sapphire dial window and a neat invisible clasp. The Movado watches come with a signature dot on the spot of the twelfth hour, an original design patented by Nathan George Horwitt, an American designer. Movado’s simple yet eye-catching designs have become a hot favourite, with more and more buyers indulging themselves into buying these smart watches.
